From the North: The team behind the camera on the pioneering programme 7 UP
How much is your personality formed by the age of 7 and what impact does social class have on your future?
That was the question that inspired a pioneering programme by Granada Television called 7 Up which started in the 60s.
Inspired by the Jesuit motto, 'Give me a child until he is seven and I will givce you the man, it focused on a group of seven year olds - and every seven years it's gone back to see how they're getting on in life.
For many years it's been the same dedicated crew behind the camera - and they are a huge part of the programme's success.
Claire Lewis is the Series Producer who's worked on the programme for almost forty years.
She's been telling Elaine Willcox why the original team made a big mistake, including just 4 girls.
