TT road safety campaign launched for 2019
A road safety campaign has been launched by the Isle of Man Constabulary urging road users to stay safe during the TT festival.
Continuing the theme of last year's campaign, the core messages are 'Keep Calm and Slow Down', 'Keep Calm and Ride Safe' and 'Keep Calm and Drive Sober'.
The launch took place today at The Grandstand led by Home Affairs Minister, Bill Malarkey MHK and Superintendent for Operational Policing, Steve Maddocks.
Information highlighting these messages will be available in various languages to facilitate the variety of visitors staying on the Island.
During the festival, the road safety team will be visiting the Grandstand, Ramsey Sprint, Peel Day, Braddan Church and Castletown.
A one-way system will be in operation on The Mountain Road from 4:30pm on Friday 24th May for the duration of the festival.
Updates on the latest road information will be posted on the Isle of Man Constabulary twitter - @TweetBeatIOM.
