Beswick stabbing: Father's heartbroken tribute to son killed in 'mindless act of violence'

The family of a man who died after being stabbed in Manchester have paid tribute to him as a "loving son and brother".

Hamze Ibrahim Ismail was 21 years old.

He died in hospital after being stabbed on Hinckley Street in Beswick.

Paying tribute to him, his father Ibrahim Ahmed said: “Hamze was always there for his family and friends. He was the type of person who would go out of his way to help others, and now we are broken as a family."

In a statement, Hamze's family have thanked the police and the community at Hinckley Street who tried so hard to save him.

They are asking anyone with information to contact GMP as a matter of urgency.

A man has been charged with murder.
