Temporary traffic lights will be operating on Douglas Promenade from Wednesday 24th April.

The lights are being used to ensure that concreting works will be completed in time for the TT.

The initial area that will be affected is Queen's Promenade, Summerhill and Strathallan Crescent.

But the lights will begin to be moved southward down the promenade as the work continues.

They will be in place daily between 9:30am to 3:30pm and if required, 6:00pm to 9:00pm for two evenings every week.

Drivers are being advised to use alternative routes during these times.

The TT is due to start on 25th May.
