Three men thought to be Everton fans have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder after a football match between Everton and Millwall in January.

Police were called to reports of a large-scale brawl outside Surrey Quays station in South East London before the match. One man received a life-changing injury to his face.

Three people have been released on bail to return to a Liverpool police station in early April.

They are:

  • A 35-year-old man from Liverpool

  • A 19-year-old man from Warrington

  • A 49-year-old man from Warrington

Met Police estimated that up to 50 people were involved in the worst elements of the violence that erupted on match-day, which the deputy assistant commissioner described as “the worst that we’ve seen for some time".

They are continuing to ask for help to identify nine others who they want to speak to. They've released images here.
