'We see this as a homage to journalism': Jamie Dornan and real-life counterpart Paul Conroy on A Private War
A war photographer from Liverpool whose most famous assignment has been made into a Hollywood film joined the cast for a special London screening last night.
A Private War tells the story of Paul Conroy's final mission with the legendary Sunday Times journalist Marie Colvin in Syria before she was killed in an airstrike in the city of Homs. They had gone there to report on the plight of the civilians during the country's civil war.
We joined Paul Conroy and the actor Jamie Dornan, who plays Paul in the film, to find out about their process of working together to share this "hugely important story".
