Chat Moss: protest over plans to build 1,600 homes on greenbelt land in Salford

Protestors have been voicing their opposition to a development which they say will ruin one of Salford's few open spaces.

Chat Moss, which covers a third of the city, has been earmarked for more than 1,600 homes.

The council says the plans will help boost the number of affordable homes desperately needed in the area.
