Tributes paid to BBC presenter Dianne Oxberry after death at 51
Tributes have been paid to BBC presenter Dianne Oxberry who has died at 51 after a short illness.
Oxberry rose to fame for her work on Radio 1 in the 1990s, where she starred alongside Simon Mayo and Steve Wright.
She became BBC North West's weather presenter in 1994 and also fronted the Inside Out North West current affairs programme.
Her husband Ian said he and their children would miss her more than anyone can imagine.
Fellow BBC North West Tonight presenters Roger Johnson and Annabel Tiffin paid tribute to their colleague.
