Plans to save the North West's last seaside lido to be debated by councillors

Campaigners say the pool could be commercially viable again

Calls for the restoration of a derelict lido in Cumbria are to be debated by the local council today.

Grange Lidoin Grange-over-Sands is the only surviving seaside lido in the North of England. It's been derelict for 25 years.

The lido in Grange-over-Sands was a popular venue over the years.

Now more than 14,000 people have signed an online petition to save it.
