A self-help book that belonged to the late Michael Jackson is expected to fetch up to £8000 when it goes up for auction later.

He made many hand-written notes in the margin of his copy of Robert Greene's "The 48 Laws of Power" - which explains how to earn respect and power.

The King of Pop annotated the book extensively - leaving several handwritten notes in the margins and underlining key passages.

Several sections are highlighted with the words "True", "wow" and "great!"

Among the pieces the singer picked out was a note on how to win authority by distancing yourself from someone. Michael Jackson had written beside it "The moon comes every night, so people don't come to look at the heavens".
