Sky high at 100-years old

When Mary Bell turned 100-years old recently, her priorities were a little different from most people her age.

The resident of Lavender Hills nursing home in Ramsbottom wanted to do a parachute jump to celebrate the occasion.

Parachuting from a plane was not possible for Mary, who uses a wheel chair and is quite frail, but she didn't let the dream die there.

Instead, she flew the plane herself, riding over the Nursing home in Ramsbottom with support from all her friends below.
