Hollyoaks actress on helping women and children in Iraq

Stephanie Waring spent four days away from filming the Channel 4 soap delivering essential supplies to women and children in Iraq.

The 40 year old star visited a host of refugee camps in the war-torn country on behalf of the Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation.

Stephanie also spent time chatting with Nadia Murad’s family, the recent winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.

She heard from Nadia’s sister, who went into great detail about what happened to Nadia herself and her family when ISIS invaded their village.

This included the murdering of their brothers and the use of their female family members as sex slaves.
