Mystery 15 ft sea creature washes up on Crosby beach
A walker was confronted with the remains of a mystery 15 feet sea creature which had washed up on Crosby beach.
The man, who asked not be named, took a couple of photographs of the remains and sent them to the Liverpool Echo.
He said:
The photographs appear to show the remains of a large marine creature. Some of the animal's bones were visible.
The walker said he was near to Antony Gormley's famous Iron Men installation when he spotted the creature.
Last year a number of creatures washed up on Crosby beach including a seamouse, small shark and large jellyfish.
The photographs of the latest creature to wash up on the beach have been sent to Sefton Council.
