Liverpool Lime Street opens after £140m refurb

Commuters travelling into Liverpool's Lime Street Station this morning will be the first to benefit from a £140 million transformation.

Improvements to the track, platform and signals by Network Rail have taken 18 months to complete.

The work is part of the Great North Rail Project.
