A toddler is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Denton.

Police were called to Reid Close at 6:10 yesterday evening to reports of a collision involving a young pedestrian and a black Audi A3.

A two year old boy was taken to hospital. The driver remained at the scene to speak to police.
