Man's having emergency surgery to save his leg after being hit by a silver Audi
A man is having emergency surgery to save his leg after he was hit by a silver Audi in Little Hulton.
At around 7.25pm on Sunday, September 16, police were called to a collision involving a silver Audi S3 Quattro and a pedestrian outside Kebab King on Manchester Road West.
The pedestrian – an 18-year-old man – was crossing the road after leaving the takeaway when the Audi collided with him.
He was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries where he is currently receiving surgery in an attempt to save his leg.
A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody for questioning.
Anyone who saw the Audi driving prior to the collision is encouraged to come forward.
