Funeral details confirmed for four children killed in arson attack

Demi, Brandon, Lacie, and Lia Pearson.

Mourners are being invited to pay their respects to four children from Salford who died following a devastating arson attack on their home.

15 year old Demi Pearson, eight year old Brandon, seven year old Lacie, and three-year-old Lia will be remembered in a join funeral at St Paul’s Church in Walkden on Friday, September 14.

Hundreds of people are expected to attend the service, with family confirming there will be a screen and speakers outside the church for anyone unable to fit inside.

The children’s coffins will be taken to the funeral by horse-drawn carriages which will leave their home on Jackson Street at 10am.

Family and friends will walk behind the procession as it makes its way to the church via Bridgewater Primary School – where Lacie and Brandon were pupils – for a one minute silence.

From there, it will head along Manchester Road East to the church.

Mourners will gather in St Paul’s Church in Walkden for the service - with anyone unable to fit inside the church able to watch on a big screen outside.

The dress code has been given as "black and pink for girls and black and blue for boys"

The children's mother Michelle Pearson was rescued from the blaze but suffered serious injuries.

She's nominated a chosen charity, so although there is a request for only family flowers, there will be donation buckets on the day.

Three people have been jailed over the Pearson siblings' deaths.

Zak Bolland was found guilty of four counts of murder.

David Worrall was also convicted of murdering the four children.

Courtney Brierley was found guilty of four counts of manslaughter.
