IoM search and rescue effort highlights 'dedication' of volunteers
Emergency services and rescue teams on the Isle of Man have been praised by local police for saving a woman from the sea.
Early this morning at around 2am police received reports of a person going into the sea off the coast of Ramsey.
Teams involved in the extensive search were the Isle of Man Constabulary, RNLI Ramsey, Ramsey Coastguard, the ambulance service, HM Coastguard helicopter and Search and Rescue Dogs Isle of Man.
After two hours of searching Ramsey Bay, a woman was found and taken to hospital.
