Isle of Man records its first species of bat
A species of bat has been recorded on the Isle of Man for the first time.
Nathusius' pipistrelle were discovered by the Manx Bat Group in June and July.
The bats were found in a house near a river in Peel and also in Ramsey.
The Manx Bat Group regularly undertakes surveys of properties or particular locations to check for the presence of bats.
The goup are hosting a Nathusius' pipistrelle hunt in September
