Report: New poem celebrates Lake District's outstanding beauty
The poet who came to prominence after the Manchester Arena bombing last year has composed a poem to celebrate the beauty of the Lake District.
Tony Walsh became the unofficial voice of Manchester with his poem 'This is the place', in the wake of last year's terrorist attack.
His new verse on the Lakes was comissioned to mark the national park becoming a world heritage site. But he says the two poems do have similarities.
