Liverpool is helping Blackpool Tower Circus celebrate its 250th birthday.

As part of its programme of summer holiday entertainment Liverpool One will be hosting pop up performances and workshops.

The world class circus acts will take to the streets of the shopping centre to perform for the first time outside of the world-famous Blackpool Tower.

To celebrate a quarter of a century since the creation of the circus, there will be a circus camp available everyday over the six-week summer break at Liverpool One. As well as hosting a Circus tent with a variety of free workshops.

  • Workshops begin on Monday 23 July and are available Monday to Wednesday 11am – 2pm and Thursday to Sunday 12pm – 4pm, until 2 September. There's no need to book in advance.

  • Circus Camp will run from July 23 until September 2.
