This video shows the moment two pranksters stunned shoppers by taking a dip in the ornamental pool at Trafford Centre's food court.

Danielle Jordan, who filmed the footage on her mobile phone, said the two men were pursued by security guards after taking the plunge in front of stunned diners.

The footage shows the men slide on the food court's marble flooring after they jump out of the pool and run away.

Danielle, 29, from Atherton, said:

Danielle said the pair, who are believed to be in their late-teens, ran out of the main doors leading from the food hall, as security tried to catch them.

It's not the first time pranksters have used the food court's shallow pool - in 2016 a YouTube vlogger wearing googles and a life jacket swam in the pool before being escorted by security.

Speaking about Tuesday's prank Danielle said:
