Wirral-based film makers are making a movie about the First World War poet, Wilfred Owen, who spent much of his childhood in Birkenhead.

Wilfred died aged 25 in the Somme battlefields in France, just one week before the end of WW1.

The film marks 100 years since his death.

Owen's poems are among the best our country has produced, many documenting the horrors of life in the trenches.
