Manx-born Barry Gibb receives knighthood
Bee Gees singer Barry Gibb has recieved his knighthood at Buckingham Palace.
The Prince of Wales knighted him at a investiture ceremony earlier today.
Barry was born on the Isle of Man along with his two brothers and band members, Robin and Maurice, before moving to Cholrton in Manchester and found fame after settling in Australia.
Members of Barry's family were there, including his wife, Linda, and children Michael (left), Alexandra and Ashley.
