Man charged with murder after death of 'talented' young father Noel White

A man has been charged with murder after a young father died in Manchester.

Noel White had a young son and was described as a talented rap artist.

He collapsed outside his home in Withington last Saturday - and was pronounced dead in hospital.

Police believe he'd been assaulted earlier that day.

Hedley Plummer, who is 37 and of no fixed address, has been charged with a single count of murder.

He’s been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
