Lucky escape for two men after plane crashes in field
A plane has crash landed in a field in Greater Manchester.
The light aircraft came down in farmland near City Airport in Eccles.
Two men managed to escape the wreckage without any serious injuries.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said one of the men was taken to Salford Royal Hospital with head and neck injuries, while the second man was checked over by ambulance crews at the scene.
