A pregnant pet snake is missing in Wythenshawe

A pregnant snake is on the loose in Wythenshawe.

Cordelia is a 4.5ft ball python described as "placid and nosy" - her owner is desperate for her safe return.

Cordelia's owner searched all night in Baguley after her pet's sudden disappearance.

Despite help from neighbours, the snake is still missing - and with two main roads nearby dears a growing for her safety.

Cordelia is likely to have found a dark place to hide, such as a hole in a tree or some long grass

Cordelia was in a large plastic box - known as a rub - when she escaped.

Her owner also owns a dog and insists Cordelia is not a threat to pets.
