Zach Washington-Young is backing a campaign to change the laws on the age of tyres on coaches after a crash left him with life changing injuries.

Zach was travelling back from the Bestival music festival in 2012 on the coach which crashed killing 18 year old Michael Molloy and 23 year old Kerry Ogden, both from Liverpool .

An inquest later revealed the crash was caused by a tyre on the coach that was over 19 years old.

Now, he's joining up with the Tyred campaign to change the law on how often tyres on coaches must be replaced.

Zach is teaming up with Michael’s mother, Frances Molloy, who's been campaigning for legislation to prevent operators from using dangerously old tyres on their vehicles and putting lives at risk unnecessarily.
