A woman left paralysed from the chest down after a riding accident ten years ago is determined to complete the Greater Manchester Marathon - raising thousands of pounds for charity in the process.

Claire Lomas uses a special bionic which allows her to take steps.

She has previously completed the London Marathon in 17 days - but is determined to smash her record for this route.

Claire is raising money for the The Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation.

Her ultimate aim to end paralysis.
