Woman found dead in Manchester flat died from multiple stab wounds
A woman who was stabbed to death in a flat in Manchester has been formally identified.
Police were called to the Ancoats area of the city on Tuesday morning after reports that a man had jumped from the second storey of a block of flats, landing on a car, and assaulting several members of the public.
They entered a flat on Swan Street and found the body of 24-year-old Danielle Richardson.
A Home Office post mortem has confirmed that she died from multiple stab wounds.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains under police guard in hospital.
Police are still at the scene.
