Manchester Arena attack: homeless 'hero' who stole from victims to be sentenced

A homeless man who stole from victims of the Manchester Arena attack is to be sentenced today.

Chris Parker was initially dubbed a hero after claiming he comforted a seriously injured girl.

CCTV footage played to Manchester Crown Court showed him wandering between victims, taking personal belongings.

He also used a bank card taken from a victim.

Earlier this month Chris Parker pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and one of fraud.
