A team of nurses helped a frightened 10-year-old face 'one of her greatest fears' by singing a Disney song to her as she had a blood test.

Alicia Hall was terrified of having the test and tried to stall it for another few weeks when the nursing staff at The Royal Oldham Hospital stepped in to help.

They promised to sing for Alicia throughout her ordeal and make her laugh to take her mind off what she was having done.

Watch what they did for her:

And as well as singing the entire Let It Go song from the film Frozen, the nursing team danced, showed their young patient pictures, and gave her hugs.

Alicia's mum Andrea Fitzgerald shared the video, calling the nurses "fantastic".

Kathryn Krinks, divisional director of nursing for paediatrics and neonates at The Royal Oldham Hospital said:

“This is a lovely example of the team recognising Alicia’s needs and responding in such a unique and fun way.

"I am very proud to work with staff that make a difference every day, and I am delighted that Alicia left the department with a smile on her face.
