Snow showers fed down the Pennines and into the Peak District overnight. Some beautiful winter sunshine here today with lying snow over hills and a biting wind.
Showers continued on a northwesterly feed throughout Friday, mainly affecting the Isle of Man, Merseyside and parts of Cheshire.
