Anthony Crolla relives 'darkest moment' alongside former boxer Kieran Farrell
Manchester boxer Anthony Crolla has opened up about what he describes as 'the darkest moment of his life' as part of his new book.
The story unfolded in the ring in a fight against his friend Kieran Farrell in 2012.
Farrell suffered a life threatening brain injury during the bout and was forced to retire from the sport at the age of 22.
Both men struggled to come to terms with what happened that night and went a long period without seeing each other.
Our sports correspondent David Chisnall reunited them. Here's his exclusive report.
The former world champion released 'Million Dollar Crolla' earlier this month. It's now available at all major retailers.
