Police investigating report 'large amount of cash' stolen from supermarket after fire

Police are investigating after a large amount of cash was reportedly stolen from a supermarket after a huge fire in Beswick, east Manchester, last Tuesday.

Officers say the alleged burglary occurred between 5pm last Tuesday and 9.30am on Sunday, October 29. It was reported the money was taken from an office in the Wing Fat supermarket where the fire broke out on Ashton Old Road.
