Two men randomly assaulted at Manchester Victoria

British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after two men were randomly assaulted at Manchester Victoria station.

A man in his fifties and a man in his sixties were walking through the Trinity Link Corridor towards the station when one of the victims was struck around the back of the head with a wet floor sign.

The victim stumbled to the floor and was assaulted further before his friend helped him up. His friend was then punched in the face with such force it knocked him to his feet.

The incident happened at approximately 10.50pm on Friday 22 September.

Investigating officer PC Emma Power said:
