Viewers left in tears following Manchester attack documentary
Last night's ITV documentary, which marked 100 days following the Manchester terror attack, left many viewers in tears.
Manchester: 100 Days After The Attack, was a reflection on the awful events that unfolded following an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena in May.
The hard-hitting documentary, narrated by Christopher Eccleston, consisted of interviews with those who had lost loved ones following the bomb, and individuals who suffered injuries.
Many viewers took to social media to say they were left in tears following the broadcast:
The documentary followed a number of victims who were injured after the blast, including 8-year-old Lily Harrison. Lily was rushed to hospital on the night by PC Kath Daly after being struck by the bomb. The two were reunited in the documentary for the first time.
PC Kath was one of a number of emergency service workers who attended the scene on the night. Some viewers took to social media to praise their response.
