Vic Reeves's first day on the cobbles

Coronation Street have revealed the first picture of Jim Moir, better known as comedian Vic Reeves, in character on the cobbles.

The comic is acting in the soap under his real name rather than his stage name.

Jim/Vic will play television presenter Colin who comes to Weatherfield to film with Norris and Mary after they are chosen to make an appearance on his show.

Jim has begun filming his three-month stint but won't be seen on screen until later this summer.
