Police release e-fit after violent robbery
Detectives investigating a violent robbery in Farnworth have released E-fit images of three men.
At about 8.30pm on Friday May 5 two women were home alone on Mable Avenue when they heard a knock on the front door.
They heard a man ask if they had a moped but one of the victims said no and then the man walked off.
Five minutes later, four men entered the house through the back door.
One of them grabbed one of the women and pulled off all her jewellery while another went upstairs to steal jewellery from the bedrooms.
A third man then held the woman who originally went to the front door down on the floor before kneeling on her stomach. A violent struggle took place ripping her clothes.
All the offenders then fled the property out of the back door and down a side alley. They when then witnessed driving off in a dark coloured Audi A4 that was parked on Leverhulme Avenue, Great Lever, Bolton.
