People wanting to donate to the We Love Manchester fundraising campaign can now do so via the Co-operative Bank.

The Co-op has made its branch network and call centre available to people wishing to make donations to the campaign, supporting those affected by the deadliest terrorist incident in Britain since the July 7th bombings in London in 2005.

The fundraising campaign is being run by the British Red Cross and others.

The Co-op said that from Tuesday 30th May, people, whether or not they are its customers, will be able to donate to the campaign fund in branches nationwide. The Bank will also be able to accept donations over the phone, via its call centre.

The Co-operative Bank, whose headquarters are based in Manchester, has also donated £25,000 to the campaign from its charitable Customers Who Care fund.
