Manchester City Woman lead the way in player of the year
Manchester City Women lead the way in the PFA player of the season nominees, with Liverpool Ladies also scoring a nomination.
City's women get six nominations, and Liverpool Ladies' Caroline Weir is also nominated.
Here's a look at the North West players up for the award:
LUCY BRONZE
Club: Manchester City Women
Age: 25
Key stat: Has won the Women's Super League three times in the last four years, twice with Liverpool and in 2016 with City. In 2015, she and City finished second.
JANE ROSS
Club: Manchester City Women
Age: 27
Key stat: Scored 13 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions in the 2016 season, the most of any top-flight player.
JILL SCOTTClub: Manchester City Women
Age: 30
Key stat: Scored five goals in all competitions, equalling the most prolific season of her career. Also scored five in England's Euro 2017 qualifying campaign.
NIKITA PARRIS
Club: Manchester City Women
Age: 23
Key stat: Her six City goals in all competitions included a hat-trick against Aston Villa in the WSL Cup. She also made her senior England debut and scored three times in Euro 2017 qualifying.
GEORGIA STANWAYClub: Manchester City Women
Age: 18
Key stat: Scored four goals in as many starts in the WSL, making 10 appearances in all.
KEIRA WALSH
Club: Manchester City Women
Age: 20
Key stat: The midfielder scored her first goal for the club, a memorable long-range strike in their Champions League win over Brondby in November.

Age: 21
Key stat: Liverpool's top scorer in 2016 with seven goals, placing her third in the WSL behind Ross (eight) and Chelsea's Eni Aluko (nine).
