Princess Diana's former butler marries boyfriend in the Lake District
Former royal butler Paul Burrell has married his boyfriend in a ceremony in the Lake District.
The "rock" of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, wed Graham Cooper at the Linthwaite Hotel, in Bowness-on-Windermere, on Sunday.
According to the Daily Mail, Mr Burrell said afterwards: "Life is about being true to who you are and, for the fist time ever, I'm able to stand proudly beside my husband and say, 'This is who I am'."
The ceremony came around a month after the 58-year-old, who separated from wife Maria last year, publicly confirmed he was in a same-sex relationship.
The father-of-two was a trusted confidant to Diana until her death in a fatal car accident in a Parisian tunnel in 1997.
She left him £50,000 in her will and once referred to him as "my rock".
Following her death, Mr Burrell penned a number of tell-all books about life within the royal household.
This was followed by a string of reality TV appearances, including stints on I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother.
