Friends of Wirral blast victim support family

The friends of a man who was seriously injured in the explosion at New Ferry have come together to fundraise for the family.

Lewis Jones, 21, is being treated at Liverpool's specialist Walton Centre.

Lewis left his home just a couple of minutes beforehand to see some friends.

His mum today revealed how she tried calling him but his phone was switched off.

Lewis’ friends have set up a Just Giving page to help Lewis.
