Women jailed for sexually assaulting man with scissors
Two women from Cumbria have been jailed for sexually assaulting a man with a pair of scissors.
26-year-old Brogan Gillard from Ulverston was sentenced to 31 months, while Paige Cunningham, who's 22 and from Barrow, was handed 10 months by a judge at Preston Crown Court.
The pair had earlier pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the 19-year-old man at Gillard's former home in the early hours of the 29th November last year after meeting him at a pub in Barrow.
While he was unconscious on the kitchen floor of the house, the women cut his hair and clothes, before cutting a red onion into chunks over his head and naked body.
Gillard then approached the victim with a pair of scissors and assaulted him.
The three photographed themselves with the 19-year-old, before he woke up and left the property. Gillard’s mobile phone was found to contain four videos and 40 images of the events.
A third woman, 20-year-old Shannon Jones from Barrow, is still to be sentenced for the offence. She'll appear in court later this week.
