The Isle of Man Government has issued a warning that it needs to protect the famous TT brand - in response to controversy over a brewery's use of the iconic initials.

Bushys Brewery, which has used the letters TT on merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers and on its famous Beer Tent over the TT fortnight, now has supporters claiming Government have threatened to sue the company for continued use.

A Government statement from the Department of Economic Development says they "have an obligation to protect the official use of the TT brand".

The petition can be found here.
