Police appeal: man, 81, critical after being hit by car
Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision that has left a man in a critical condition in Horwich.
At about 2.05pm yesterday - Sunday 4 December 4 - an 82-year-old man was crossing Green Lane, near to the junction with Carr Road, when a white Ford Focus car collided with him.
The man was taken to hospital with a life-threatening head injury and remains in a critical condition.
Police are appealing to anyone who saw the collision or saw the Ford Focus shortly beforehand, to get in touch.
