Police appeal after man knocked off moped
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left in a serious condition after being knocked off his moped.
At around 8.45am on Friday, December 2, police were called to reports that a silver Vauxhall Corsa had collided with a moped on Manchester Road in Whitefield.
Police and ambulance services attended and a 49 year-old man received emergency treatment at the scene. He was taken to hospital where he is in a critical condition.
An 18 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of drugs. He was bailed pending further enquiries,
