The family of a man who died in a collision in Swinton have paid tribute to him.
at around 6.30 this morning police were called to a three-car crash on the East Lancs Road in Swinton.
A 77-year-old man, who has now been named as John Albert Lancaster, was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
Paying tribute to him, his family said:
Police have launched an investigation and are now appealing for witnesses.
