Family of former seaman who died in crash pay tribute
The family of a former merchant seaman who died after a collision in Swinton has paid tribute to him.
Shortly after 7.30pm on Saturday October 22, police were called to Worsley Road to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a van.
Officers attended and found an 86-year-old man, who has been formally identified as Maurice Brady, with number of injuries. He was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
