A former Rugby League player says his life has been transformed thanks to the generosity of others.
Luke Bryan was paralysed from the neck down following a devastating injury in 1996 while playing for Haydock under 18s.
Thanks to an £80,000 donation from the Steve Prescott Foundation through the Rugby League Benevolent Fund Luke has now moved into a specially adapted home in Haydock. The Rugby League Benevolent Fund, one of the charities supported by the SPF, helps players who have been affected by serious injury.
Former players Adrian Morley, Lee Briers, Steve Hampson and Gary Connolly - all ambassadors for the SPF - were on hand to officially open Luke's home and hand over the keys.
